Silver prints are made on high-quality professional photo papers widely used in photo labs worldwide, including glossy, semi-gloss, and matte finishes. While Silver prints are not archival and do not offer the same long-term permanence as Gold or Platinum, the visual difference is typically unnoticeable for many years under normal display conditions. Lower price does not mean lower value. In fact, around 80% of all sold prints belong to the Silver tier. Consider Silver if you’re new to collecting and want a more affordable starting point, or you just want a dependable, attractive print without paying for archival standards.
