The Way You Look At Me
This is a unique print (1) using cyanotype process.
What stands out in this print is its antique character. Unlike digital prints, this work bears the unmistakable mark of being handmade.
DETAILS
Cyanotype is one of the oldest photographic printing processes, valued for its deep, luminous blue tones and handcrafted character. Each print carries subtle variations from coating, exposure, and development, making every piece truly unique and collectible. Cyanotypes are highly stable and can last for generations when made on archival cotton paper and properly cared for. Some 19th-century cyanotypes are still in excellent condition today.
This cyanotype was created by producing a digital negative in Photoshop, printing it, and exposing it under UV light onto hand-coated paper. After development in water, the print revealed its signature deep cyan blue tones. Printed on thick, cold-pressed (textured), 100% cotton watercolor paper, the result is a unique work of art — handmade, richly textured, and built to last for generations.
The print is unmounted and best presented in a 30×40 frame, allowing the handmade nature of the work to remain fully visible.
